Fr. Gabriele Amorth (1929-2-16) was ordained a Catholic priest in 1954 as a member of the Society of St. Paul. He worked for thirty years as a journalist and editor until he was appointed an exorcist of the Diocese of Rome. In 1990, he founded the International Association of Exorcists. Over the course of his career, Father Amorth is believed to have performed over 60,000 exorcisms. His work in demonology and exorcism, combined with his experience in media, gained him international recognition.
